Cataloging note: This image is usually attributed to Xavier Guerrero, likely on the basis of a lithograph version of the logo bearing Guerrero's initials (Prignitz 1693), an impression of which is held by the Academia de Artes, Mexico City and illustrated in Prignitz 1992, 59 and Prignitz-Poda 2018, ch. 1. However,  Méndez's participation in the authorship of the image is suggested by a sketch of the logo in Méndez's 1938 agenda, held in the Fondo Documental Leopoldo Méndez at the Centro Nacional de Investigación, Documentación e Información de Artes Plásticas (Cenidiap), Mexico City, CNAP-FR-LM-C12-E575-D1520/ 6.1.2. The nature and extent of Méndez's involvement in the design and/or execution of the linocut is unknown.

Nota de catalogación: Esta imagen generalmente se atribuye a Xavier Guerrero, probablemente basándose en una versión litográfica del logotipo que lleva las iniciales de Guerrero (Prignitz 1693), cuya impresión se conserva en la Academia de Artes en la Ciudad de México y aparece ilustrada en Prignitz 1992, p. 59, y en Prignitz-Poda 2018, cap. 1. Sin embargo, la participación de Méndez en la autoría de la imagen queda sugerida por un boceto del logotipo que figura en la agenda de Méndez de 1938, conservada en el Fondo Documental Leopoldo Méndez del Centro Nacional de Investigación, Documentación e Información de Artes Plásticas (Cenidiap), Ciudad de México, CNAP-FR-LM-C12-E575-D1520/ 6.1.2.
