Cataloging note:  Although this vignette cannot be definitely attributed to Méndez, the style of the composition and the handling of the crayon are typical of his work. An accompanying vignette by another anonymous TGP artist includes a caricature of Méndez, whip in hand, riding herd on his fellow printmakers to get the publication printed. The vignettes were drawn on the same stone as the illustrations that appear above them on the sheet.

Nota de catalogación: Aunque esta viñeta no puede atribuirse con certeza a Méndez, el estilo de la composición y el manejo del crayon son característicos de su obra. Una viñeta adyacente, obra de otro artista anónimo de la TGP, incluye una caricatura de Méndez, látigo en mano, presionando a sus compañeros grabadores para que se imprima la publicación. Las viñetas fueron dibujadas sobre la misma piedra que las ilustraciones que aparecen encima de ellas en la hoja.
