Cataloging note: In 1943, the Taller de Gráfica Popular produced three posters for the Comites Centrales de la Defensa Civil, organizations created by President Manuel Ávila Camacho in 1942 after Mexico's entry into World War 2 on the side of the allies. While the posters cannot be definitively attributed to specific TGP members, they bear the hallmarks of Méndez's drawing style, making it plausible that Méndez was involved in their creation.
